Muzha and Puxian Zhenren

Muzha took Puxian Zhenren as his master at the White Crane Cave on Mount Jiugong, learned the art of the paired swords while studying with him, and received the two Wugou blades from his master’s house. When the Investiture war began, Puxian sent him down to Western Qi, and Muzha walked into Jiang Ziya’s camp with the twin swords and met Jinzha and Nezha there in turn.

When the Ten Absolutes and the Ten Thousand Immortals formations opened, Puxian came down and entered them himself while Muzha supported him from outside with the Zhou officers and escorted his master back to camp afterwards.

As the Zhou army passed the five passes, Muzha stayed with it at Puxian’s order, taking enemy officers with the Wugou swords and waiting on his master’s word before any formation. When the Shang–Zhou war ended he left the mortal army; when he next appears, in the Journey story, he is attending Guanyin as the acolyte Moksa.
