The story of Wuji Apricot-Yellow Banner
When Jiang Ziya took his charge on Mount Kunlun and came down, Yuanshi Tianzun granted him the Wuji Apricot-Yellow Banner to shield him. Unfurled, golden lotuses rose from beneath his feet and held off the weapons and treasures thrown at him.
On the day the roll was read at the investiture terrace, Jiang Ziya stood at its centre with the apricot-yellow banner in his left hand and the God-Beating Whip in his right and read out the commission of Yuxu Palace. When the gods had all been invested he rolled the banner up and carried it away from Mount Qi.
