The story of Sun-and-Moon Pearls

Guiling Shengmu chased Juliusun out of the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation with drawn sword, and after several passes raised the Sun-and-Moon Pearls into the air. The light of the two pearls fell in turn and forced Juliusun to turn and flee west.

Jieyin Daoren blocked the pursuit ahead, and Guiling took the pearls in and fought him. Once they had passed into the western array the pearls lost the hand that worked them and never returned to the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation.

Guiling was afterwards drained by the swarm of mosquitoes, and her spirit did not return to the Biyou Palace either. When the treasures were counted after the battle, only the light of the pearls was left, fading near the broken gate of the formation.
