Kong Xuan and Jiang Ziya

Jiang Ziya led the Zhou army east to Jinji Ridge, where Kong Xuan had already drawn up below the pass. Kong Xuan fought Hong Jin, Nezha, Huang Tianhua and others in turn, and at one turn of the five-coloured light behind him brushed away men and treasures alike.

Day after day Jiang Ziya named his officers, and every day the camp had fewer standards; he called in Randeng, Luya and others, and still could not recover what the light had taken. Kong Xuan then charged into the Zhou camp, the five colours shining over the gate, and Jiang Ziya had to wheel his horse into the rear.

When Zhunti Daoren arrived from the west and showed his dharma-body before the pass, he beat Kong Xuan back into his peacock shape and took him away. Only then did Jiang Ziya have the scattered weapons gathered and the officers trapped in the light released, and the next day struck camp and crossed Jinji Ridge.
