Hongjun Daozu and Taiqing Laozi

Taiqing Laozi entered Zixiao Palace when its doors opened and sat down to hear Hongjun preach. Hongjun expounded the ways of Da Luo, of the quasi-saints and of sainthood over three sermons, and before the last of them was finished he set out the saintly seats and the Primordial Purple Qi.

Having received the charge, Taiqing Laozi left Zixiao Palace, returned to the world to cultivate, and then founded a school or gathered merit until sainthood. When Hongjun had finished dividing the treasures he merged himself into Heaven's Way, while Taiqing Laozi stayed in the world to keep his own seat.
