The story of Five-Light Stones

When Deng Chanyu campaigned against Western Qi with her father, she kept the five-light stones in a brocade bag. After trading blows with Nezha and Huang Tianhua she would feign a retreat and throw one back over her shoulder, and the five-coloured light struck both of them in the face in turn.

After the Deng family went over to Zhou she went on using the stones before the lines, wounding Kong Xuan and Hong Jin as well. At the battle of Mianchi, Gao Lanying blinded her with the sun-god needles, and the five-light stones were never thrown again.
