The story of Three-Pointed Double-Edged Blade

Yang Jian took Yuding Zhenren as his master at the Jinxia Cave on Mount Yuquan, and when he had mastered the Eighty-Nine Arts he came down with the three-pointed double-edged blade to join the Western Qi army. The blade is edged on both sides and its point divides into three.

On the Investiture battlefield Yang Jian met the four Mo brothers, Yu Hua, Yuan Hong and others with that blade. He usually scouted first by transformation and then charged in his own shape, blade in hand.

When Sun Wukong made havoc in heaven, Guanyin recommended Yang Jian for Mount Huaguo. The two met outside the Water Curtain Cave, the three-pointed double-edged blade against the Ruyi Jingu Bang, and fought from the foot of the mountain into the sky.

The two then took on their world-filling forms and their weapons grew with them. Wukong afterwards fled by transformation, and Yang Jian put up his blade and pursued as hawk and crane, until Laojun struck Wukong with the Diamond Bracelet.

When Wukong had been bound by the heavenly soldiers, Yang Jian took the three-pointed double-edged blade back to Guanjiangkou. Whenever heaven met a demonic disturbance afterwards, he still went out with that long weapon and his brothers of Meishan.
