The story of Mixed-Iron Staff

When Niu Mowang met Sun Wukong outside Mount Jilei he carried a Mixed-Iron Staff. It was heavy, and in his human shape he held off the golden staff with it as the two fought from the mountain gate up into the clouds.

After Wukong’s attempt on the fan brought the encirclement, Nezha and the heavenly soldiers came. Niu Mowang still tried to break out with the Mixed-Iron Staff, and only when the fire wheel and the demon-binding cord had him did he put down his weapon and show his true shape as a white bull.
