The story of Golden Serpent Scissors

Hard pressed, Zhao Gongming borrowed the Golden Serpent Scissors from the Three Xiao. Two serpents became the blades of the shears and came down crossing out of the air, and Randeng and the others gave way before them rather than take them head-on.

After Zhao Gongming’s death the Three Xiao brought the scissors to Western Qi and set out the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation with the Hunyuan Golden Dipper. When Laozi and Yuanshi entered the formation they took up every treasure in it, and the Golden Serpent Scissors did not go back to Three Immortals Isle with the sisters.
