
When Yuding Zhenren came down to take part in the Investiture war he once raised the Immortal-Slaying Sword before the lines, and its light fell and killed Zhu Tianlin. After the fighting he carried the sword back to the Jinxia Cave on Mount Yuquan.
Whenever Yang Jian met an enemy whom no blade or spear could hurt, he returned to the Jinxia Cave to ask for help and borrowed the Immortal-Slaying Sword from his master’s house. When the killing was done, Yang Jian carried it back before Yuding Zhenren’s seat.
