In short
Yellow Brow trapped Sun Wukong under the cymbals and bagged the heavenly host, and for a time nobody at the Little Thunder Sound Temple could answer him.

The story

Yellow Brow used Maitreya’s absence at an assembly to steal the golden cymbals and the acquired human-seed bag, and played buddha at the Little Thunder Sound Temple. He closed the cymbals over Sun Wukong and opened the bag to swallow the divine officers who came to the rescue.

Maitreya laid a trap in a melon field and had Wukong become a melon that Yellow Brow swallowed. When Yellow Brow fell to the ground in pain, Maitreya recovered the human-seed bag and the golden cymbals and carried the boy back to Vulture Peak.
