In short
Raised, three golden rings pin an opponent to the post; Jinzha brought it down the mountain with him.

The story

Wenshu Guangfa Tianzun took Jinzha as his disciple on Mount Wulong and gave him the Dragon-Binding Stake to carry down. Raised, the stake stands in the air, and three golden rings catch an opponent by the neck, the waist and the feet.

Jinzha took Wang Mo with the stake first, and afterwards bound Dou Rong at Youhun Pass. In the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation, Yunxiao took the stake with the Hunyuan Golden Dipper, and it came back to the Chan side only when the formation was broken.
