Quasi-saints stand below the six saints and can usually rule a whole people, a heavenly court or a region of the world by themselves. Dijun presiding over the Yao Heavenly Court, Donghuang Taiyi holding a formation with the Chaos Bell, and Zhenyuanzi shielding the Wuzhuang Temple with the Earth Book are all placed here.
They can move forces as broad as the stars, the sea of blood, the earth-veins or space itself, and can stop a Da Luo disciple before a treasure or an array. When the Zhou-Heaven Star Formation turned, Dijun and Taiyi drew every ruling star of the sky with their own power.
A contest between quasi-saints is rarely a single close-quarters duel. Clan armies, the fortune of a seat, the treasures born with them and great formations all go into it at once, and a defeat can shake a whole heavenly court or a whole sea.
Until they attain sainthood they can still fall in a calamity. Dijun and Taiyi died together in the final Wu–Yao battle, while Zhenyuanzi closed his mountain gate and held his own seat with the Earth Book and the ginseng-fruit tree.
